A personal message from our Chairman to our clients

Dear Friends and colleagues,                                   

A big Happy New Year from all of us here at UTA in Amman and Beirut!

We hope you had a great holiday season and an even better Christmas vacation! We were lucky this year here in our region, it was not quite the White Christmas with snow but was wintery enough to almost replicate it.

We also have some good news we wanted to share with you (our extended UTA family) for both UTA Jordan and UTA Lebanon!

UTA Jordan:

The Jordan Hotel Association had their yearly awards this year, held at the Crowne Plaza Dead Sea (an as of yet unopened property). The JHA is a non-profit organization that was established with the aim of developing the hotel industry in Jordan and now represents over 400 hotels throughout the Kingdom. The leading voice of the hotel and hospitality sector in Jordan, the JHA arrange their awards ceremony annually to recognize the DMC’s and tour operators in Jordan who have displayed exemplary standard of service, room nights and guest satisfaction. This year, we are proud to announce that UTA came right at the top of the list and won the award for the “Top Travel Agency” in 2011. This is not only a combined effort of the great team here on the ground but also your efforts, our colleagues abroad, in promoting Jordan.

The award now sits proudly right in the middle of our sales department. We are of course determined to win the award again next year with your help.

There is also great news from our ticketing department! The ticketing team were awarded with the top producer awards by BMI (British Midland), Lufthansa and Etihad Airways! A hat trick of success for which the team has worked diligently to meet every clients need

UTA Lebanon:

UTA Lebanon has now officially been designated as the Virtuoso On-Site office for Lebanon! Virtuoso is the worlds leading by-invitation only luxury travel network that comprises over 330 agencies with over 7,200 elite travel advisors in over 20 countries. This is fantastic news for us here in Beirut and clearly puts Lebanon on the Map as one of the emerging destinations for in-bound package and FIT arrivals for the years to come.

We would like to recognize the team here for their fantastic work and also thank you for promoting both Jordan and Lebanon. Rest assured we aim to always live up to our reputation of delivery fast, quality and unforgettable experiences for your guests.
